All About McElvey
not much one for writing, i've always found it easier to express myself with other forms of communication, not knowing that it was art. much of my work is autobiographically archival; remaining as a result of specific mental processes about events, circumstances, or otherwise larger ideas (usually, incidentally existential). more specifically, i'm interested in concepts about identity, anthropology, and the greater participation of singularities within a whole. overthinking is one of my most inconveniencing behaviors, but art allows me to organize a mountain of thoughts and ideas into a more digestible mole hill, allowing me to get back to the crux of what and why i'm thinking, and helping me to see that it can be clear and simple.
